- Due to the high concentration of sulfuric acid, the atmosphere of Venus is extremely corrosive.
- This corrosion damages severely the ships passing through the atmosphere, and may even destroy them.
- To survive, the ships must have a strong component of Diamond, a resource that gives them resistance.
- Always that a fleet of ships gets out of the atmosphere of Venus, there is a probability of the ships being destroyed. This probability depends of:
- The percentage of the cost of the ship in Diamond, in relation to its total cost;
- The Armour Technology of the player.
- This technology enhances the percentage of diamond of the ship, making it more resistant.
- Smaller ships are more likely to be destroyed.
- Bigger ships resist more time.
- Ships that cost essentially metal, are more likely to be destroyed because they have a weak component of Diamond.
- Ships that cost more Diamond than Metal, have great chances to survive, because they have a strong component in Diamond.
- The Colonization Spaceships and Armoured Cargos are never destroyed.
Missions and Corrosion
- S / N depends if the fleet delivers or steals resources of a region.
- The corrosion is always counted in the ascent of the ships
