1. Introduction

As it was previously written in Game Introduction, to develop the Empire, it's necessary to build and evolve mainly buildings, units and technologies. This constructions and evolutions require investment of resources, also designated as Economy.
Without this resources, it's not possible to evolve and the Empire will be condemned to stagnation. In the beginning of the game, it's given to the player a limited amount of economy to start evolving further.
Ways of obtaining that economy are explained in other articles of this Manual. For now, will see the different kinds of existing economy.

2. General View

  • The Economy as the name states is fundamental to player evolution. Great Empires require great investments.
  • All the constructions and evolutions need economy to be made.
  • In this game exists 6 types of economy that take strategically the game more interesting.

3. Types of Economy

Essentially there are 2 categories of economy:
  • The ones produced and kept in stock;
  • The ones produced and consumed, therefore not kept.

3.1 Metal

  • Well necessary to all type of constructions.
  • It is the base of the structure of buildings and spaceships, therefore, mainly the buildings and the spaceships need Metal.
  • It is produced by the Metal Mine and stored in the colony.
  • Can be transported to other colonies.

3.2 Diamond

  • Another well necessary that gives a bigger strength and durability to any unit/building.
  • Provides the basic resistance of the biggest part of buildings and spaceships, being a major component of military units.
  • It is produced by the Diamond Mine and stored in the colony.
  • Can be transported to other colonies.

3.3 Hydrogen

  • It is used primarily as a source of fuel in the movement of ships and vehicles.
  • Can be transported to other colonies.

3.4 Zion

  • Electronic component with some level of processing and artificial intelligence.
  • Its main utilities are some computerized technologies, as for example, the construction of robots, the construction of the computerized systems of the colonizers (vehicles and colonization spaceship) and a wide range of technologies developed by the Laboratory.
  • It is produced by the Zion Factory and stored in the colony.
  • Can be transported to other colonies.

3.5 Nanites

  • It is an artificial economy that comes from the junction of Zion with Diamonds.
  • The Nanites are more advanced technologically that Zion increasing its capacity of processing and artificial intelligence.
  • Are used in ultra-complex systems and advances only achievable by more developed Empires.
  • Can be transported to other colonies.

3.6 Energy

  • Well necessary so that all the other economies be produced.
  • It is used by the Metal and Diamond Mines, by the Hydrogen Extractor, and by the Zion and Nanites Factories.
  • If at any time the available energy becomes lower than the energy necessary, the production of the economies mentioned above will reduce of efficiency, being therefore crucial that all buildings have a constant supply of energy.
  • There are 4 ways of generating energy:
  • This economy is generated and is not stored, being consumed by the buildings that produce the economies mentioned above.
  • Cannot be transported to other colonies.

4. Robots

  • There is also a unit that appears in parallel with the rest of the economy, although being not an economy: the Robots.
  • Are produced in the Hangar and stored in the colony.
  • Can be transported to other colonies.
  • Each one occupies the space of 2.000 units of the economies mentioned above (except energy).
